IODE Oakville, Angela Bruce Chapter and Thrift Shop

The Oakville IODE Thrift Shop is at 432 Kerr Street, South of Speers Rd., On the West side of Kerr St.).

Open Tuesday to Saturday 12 - 3:30 with late closing at 5:30 on Thursdays. Closed statutory holidays. Shop: 905-842-6338, volunteer run, this thrift store offers the best deals in town for clothing, household items, décor, jewelry and books.

Meetings have resumed as of April 5, 2022 and are held at Maple Grove United church, 346 Maple Grove Dr. Oakville. 1:30 - 3 pm the first Tuesday of the month. Meetings include speakers as well as social time.

Luncheons are held twice a year.

Adopted Grade 3 class in Natuashish, Labrador

IODE Oakville lays a wreath on veterans day to honour our fallen veterans.

In 2018 IODE donated to 16 deserving community charities. Major donations went to The Oakville Hospital Foundation and YMCA summer camp.

IODE Oakville has an adopted class of grade 3 students at Mushuau Innu School, Natuashish, Labrador

Donations are sent to this fly in community three times a year. Donation boxes containing mitts, toques, balaclavas, scarves, chocolates, crafts, games and educational work books.

Oakville high school bursaries and awards are handed out once a year. These bursaries and awards are given to deserving students headed for college or University.

All 19 Oakville High Schools are eligible to apply.
